Sport Nutrition Courses for Teen Athletes

Learn about the key sport nutrition strategies and what to eat before, during and after training and games to get stronger and faster. Choose a course that is tailored to your sport, whether it is swimming, soccer, hockey, rowing or wrestling. Each course includes 2-3 chapters, each with a short video, tip sheets including meal ideas, snack ideas, recovery snacks, goal setting workbook, and sample meal plans.

RED-S Course for Athletes, Parents and Coaches

Learn about Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport, its impact on sport performance and health, as well as the risk factors and red flags. Discuss strategies for RED-S prevention at the sport organizational and team level. Learn how to screen athletes for RED-S and what treatment looks like. Course includes 3 chapters, each with a short video, resources, and a workbook and quiz.

  • Chapter 1: Describe how RED-S happens, the metabolic changes that take place and how it affects our bodies physically and psychologically.
  • Chapter 2: List the risk factors and discuss how to prevent RED-S at the sport organizational level, the team level, and consider your role in screening athletes.
